The Committee on Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies and Intellectual Development (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (hereinafter referred to as the Donetsk CCI) is a permanent advisory body formed of entrepreneurs in the field of information, computer and digital technologies and innovations (hereinafter - the ICT sector), representatives of public authorities and local governments of the Donetsk region, scientific, public and business circles of the Donetsk region, which expresses the specific interests of members of the Donetsk CCI and cooperates with organizations uniting entrepreneurs in the ICT sector.
Tasks of the Committee:
• Providing assistance to enterprises and entrepreneurs engaged in the field of ICT, primarily members of the Donetsk CCI, representation and protection of their interests on issues related to economic activities in Ukraine and abroad.
• Formation of the main directions of development of domestic and regional ICT sphere.
• Market monitoring to identify professional ICT market participants; identification of industry problems, mechanisms for their solution, its prospects; development of programs for the development of the industry, including with the involvement of marketing specialists of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other specialists.
• Development of rules of relations in the field of ICT of the region, promotion of these rules in the media, on the website of the Donetsk CCI, during business meetings of various levels.
• Formation of a civilized regional and interregional market in the field of ICT, its quality development; creating conditions for pooling resources to implement large-scale ICT projects.
• Promoting the development of interregional and international ICT relations in the Donetsk region.
Functions of the Committee:
• Assistance in organizing meetings of business circles, courses and seminars on exchange of experience and advanced training of specialists of branch associations and enterprises in the field of ICT in Donetsk region and abroad.
• Extended presentation of information about companies and their services in the network of business information exchange between the CCI of Ukraine.
• Promoting the protection of the interests of regional ICT enterprises.
• Interaction with scientific and educational institutions of the region and Ukraine on ICT issues, training for the industry.
• Assistance to enterprises, institutions and entrepreneurs of Donetsk region in preparation of documentation on certification of ICT services.
• Assistance to enterprises, institutions and citizens of Donetsk region in training certified specialists in the field.
Meetings of the Committee are held at least once a quarter.
