Today for the first time Mariupol hosts the festival "Day of France in Mariupol"
, which is aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Mariupol and European cities. The honorary guest of the celebration was the Ambassador of France in Ukraine, Isabelle Dumont
, and the streets of Mariupol was decorated with French flags for the whole day. In the city garden created a cozy nook of France for the citizens, the photo zone, street musicians, master class in French dance, national cuisine are waiting for the festival guests.
As a part of the festival, with the support of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a round table was held on the topic of “Development of the town's economy”

During the round table discussed ways of cooperation in industry, construction, banking and agriculture, culture. In addition, Ms. Isabel Dumont and representatives of French business noted that French companies that work in Ukraine are interested in expanding their business exactly in Mariupol. For his part, Vadym Boychenko assured French entrepreneurs of full support and support from the city authorities of Mariupol during the implementation of joint French-Ukrainian projects.
