The Canadian part of the training program on how to export to Canada has been ended

During the week from September 17 to 21, the Canadian part of the training program "How to Export to Canada" was held within the Canadian-Ukrainian trade and investment support project (CUTIS project). The representative of Donetsk CCI Tamila Dmytrichenko together with 14 representatives of regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry and teachers of leading Ukrainian business schools, visited Canada.
The participants visited two Canadian cities – Ottawa and Toronto, where they had an opportunity to communicate with leading Canadian experts in the field of certification, phytosanitary control, law, import and export operations, taxation, logistics, customs work, retail chains and etc.

As part of the program, there were held meetings with representatives of Health Canada, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Standards Council of Canada, Canada Border Services Agency, Public Services and Procurement Canada, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Toronto Board of Trade and Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters.

In short, the participants had a unique opportunity to communicate with officials who make decisions in areas related to the export of Ukrainian products to Canada.

The participants received certificates of successful completion of the Canadian part of the program from Elena Dinu, Project Manager, and The Conference Board of Canada.

"Over the past two weeks, we have had a unique opportunity to meet and communicate with qualified specialists, colleagues, representatives of Canadian government and other organizations; to gain new, very valuable knowledge and experience. We believe that together we will contribute to the entry of high quality Ukrainian products to the Canadian market and increase the export potential of our country", - said the participants of the training program.

Moreover, after completion of the program in Ukraine and Canada, participants with the assistance of the CUTIS project should launch pilot trainings for small and medium businesses in their regions.
